Welcome to the meeting place of Sun and sea, to the spring of life, to a place of relaxation. Promajna was named after the Sun which happily peers (promalja) above Mt. Biokovo in the most beautiful sunrises, freely spreading its rays towards the sea. The clean air, enriched with oxygen by the gentle breezes, comes down from the mountain across the greenery of the pines, olives and vineyards, right down to the white beaches of Promajna Bay, and mixes with the scents of the crystal clear sea. The dilligent and hospitable hosts have turned this former fishing and farming village into one of the brightest gems of Dalmatia, where many come to rest and recharge their health and strength. Welcome to Promajna!
